Cork Fabric Mini Handbag by SewStitchMe!

Inspired by the teeny tiny handbags from the French label Jacquemus that were being talked about everywhere when they appeared on the catwalk during Paris fashion week in February 2019, I set about creating my own version. You can read about the much publicised tiny handbag all over the internet, but in case this passed you by, here's a link to an article in The Guardian fashion section. www.theguardian.com/fashion/2019/mar/09/tiny-handbags-jacquemus-vuitton-prada-paris

My version is not quite as tiny, being capacious enough to easily hold two of those famous Ferrero Rocher chocs. A delightful way to present little gifts for all sorts of occasions - Birthdays, Mothers Day, Christmas, filled with mini choc eggs for Easter.

This mini cork handbag is easy and fun to make yourself, if you have a cutting machine, some cork fabric, glue and various bits of bag bling. There's not even any sewing involved!
I purchased my cork fabric from TheLittleBritishFabricShop and the hardware bits came from various Ebay sellers.

The SVG cut files plus PDF with detailed making instructions for this cute little bag
are now available to buy as an instant download through my Etsy Shop
